Waktu pertama kali dengar lagu ini, rasanya reff lagu ini benar-benar menginspirasi, ketika harus memilih jalur atau jalan. Dan entah seberapa sering saya melihat beberapa tokoh sukses menyanyikan lagu ini. Saya jadi penasaran dengan lagu ini dan mencari lirik lagu ini di Om Google...
Saya kemudian mencoba untuk mengartikannya, kira-kira artinya seperti ini, terkadang manusia harus membuat keputusan-keputusan penting dalam hidupnya untuk mencapai sebuah tujuan hidup. Tapi tidak sedikit pula yang menyesali keputusan tersebut. Lalu berbalik menyalahkan keadaan di sekitar mereka. Lagu ini seakan ingin menyampaikan bahwa apapun jalan, pilihan, atau keputusan yang telah kita ambil adalah pilihan kita sendiri dari dalam hati nurani, menggambarkan sebuah tekad, bukan nekad. Walau memang selalu ada resiko yang mengintai terlepas dari apakah resiko itu positif atau negatif bagi hidup kita. Yang jelas kita telah memilih dan setiap hal yang terjadi, pasti selalu ada alasan dibalik semua itu, dan itulah yang terbaik dari Sang Maha Cinta...
